THE ROTARY CLUB OF BARRY VALE

Incoming President Rachel wishing Outgoing President Quentin had warmed the chain of office first

Welcome to the home pages of the Rotary Club of Barry Vale.

We're a small (but active and friendly) club covering the area West of Cardiff, East of Cowbridge, South of the M4 and North of the sea.

Not known for our formality (unless under a three-line whip) we are quite good at coming second in quiz contests. Indeed our humour, grace and optimism in the face of crushing defeat is becoming legendary.

The extract from our bannerette above shows the diversity of life in the Vale of Glamorgan, from lighthouses, through agriculture to television (it's a transmission mast, not a rocket) and not forgetting our international airport. The sheep is behind the tractor.

If you're in the area, please drop in. It's junction 33 of the M4--follow the signs for Barry Island. We'd love to see you.

Don't worry if you don't have a chance to call us first--there's always room at our table.
