A group of scouts have got together to raise funds for a children's cancer charity, and have provided a local Rotary club with a slap up feat in the process.
The 44th Swansea (Sketty Church) Scouts prepared and served a three course meal in their Scout Hall for Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Swansea St Marys, who donated over £150 for the scouts chosen charity, the childrens cancer charity LATCH.
The scouts responded to this charity because of the help LATCH is giving one of their friends.
President of the Rotary Club of Swansea St Marys, John Williams said, "The young people worked hard to provide us with such a splendid meal. I know that the spent the evening before the dinner doing all the preparations. Many hours work had been done by both the Scouts and their leaders."
"In addition to that, the scouts gave away all the money they earned by their hard work to a worthy charity. Our club are pleased to be associated with both the scouts and LATCH" added Mr Williams.
