March 1st – Final date for submission of Proposal Forms for the Election of District Governor 2008-2009.

March 6th – District Youth Speaks Final – Thursday.

March 9th – DISTRICT COUNCIL MEETING – Thursday.

March 23rd – D.O.T.S. – Thursday.

March 20th – Last date for items to be included in the April DS’s Newsletter.

March 31st/April 2nd – R.I.B.I. Assembly – Birmingham.

Write or e-mail Assistant Governors or the District Secretary with names of any suitable Rotarians interested in serving on District.

APRIL – Rotary Magazine Month.

April 6th – District Young Chef Final (Thursday)

April 15th – PETS 2 – Zones 1, 2, and 3 – Carmarthen – Wednesday.

April 16th – PETS 2 – Zones 4, 5, 6 and 7 – Aberdare – Thursday.

April 20th – Last date for items to be included in the May DS’s Newsletter.

April 21st – 23rd – R.I.B.I. – Conference – Belfast.

April 26th – District Foundation Committee Meeting (Wednesday).

Ensure Presidents Elect attend PETS Sessions (Dates shown above and in the Calendar of Meetings in District Directory).

Club AGM should be held (having given 14 days notice) between 1st April and 31st May.

Suggest that incoming Committees commence preparations for their programmes for the coming year.

MAY

May 1st – Submit any Notices, Resolutions for the June District Council Meeting.

May 3rd – District Services Committee Meeting – Wednesday.

May 10th – District Executive Committee Meeting – Wednesday.

May 11th – DOTS – Thursday.

May 13th – District Final Young Musician - (Saturday)

May 20th – Last date for items to be included in the June DS’s Newsletter.

May 21st – DISTRICT ASSEMBLY – SWANSEA – Sunday.

JUNE.

June 11th – 14th – R.I. Convention – Copenhagen.

June 22nd – DISTRICT COUNCIL MEETING – Thursday.

June 30th – End of financial year.

Club Assemblies should be held not later than three weeks following the District Assembly, and at which the incoming Committee Chairmen can present their programmes for the ensuing year.

Arrange Handover with Outgoing and Incoming President.

JULY

July 1st – DISTRICT HANDOVER – MARGAM ORANGERY – Sunday.
